About the sample sale
I'm really pleased that you're interested in my fin prototypes! Since this sample sale is the first of its kind, I'd like to explain a few things in advance. Please take your time and read the following information and the care instructions carefully to avoid making a bad purchase or disappointment.
As the name suggests, the prototypes are products that are not ready for series production and were a process for me to get to grips with making mermaid fins. Although I have been working as a mermaid tail designer since 2018, producing my own product is something completely different. This process was necessary to use different fabrics, cuts and techniques. So for me As product development is possible, I sewed them myself, which is why the fins are far from the quality of an industrial seamstress.
The prototypes are therefore primarily aimed at photographers who use the fins to create magical fantasy shoots or experienced mermaids/men who are used to dealing with large flukes and are safe swimmers. Please do not order these prototypes if you have no experience with the sport of mermaiding. Never swim alone and only in safe waters. It is definitely an advantage if you have mastered sewing, as the probability that a seam could burst is not small.
Important! The fins do not include a monofin or vinyl when ordered. You can either sew a pocket for your monofin, make your own vinyl inlay or order an inlay for your fin. Please swimnever without a secured monofin! Failure to follow these rules can result in serious injury or even drowning.
Fluke style: Kelpie
Size: M (you can find exact measurements under the “Dimensions” tab)
additional fins:hip fin
Front and back side:identical
Fabric type: "Puffy 3D Scuba (Spacer)"
Danger! With this type of material, please be sure to wear one under your fin! The Scuba fabric has a vertical mesh, which gives the fabric a certain stability. Unfortunately, the mesh tends to bend inward at the seam edges, which can scratch the skin. The fabric is super light, but provides buoyancy due to the "air chambers" between the mesh and is a little more prone to wrinkles than the "normal" scuba knit.
Care: Machine washable up to 30°C according to manufacturer, do not bleach, do not tumble dry
