wing
A small selection of pairs of wings produced so far. Since I have already made hundreds, this would go beyond the scope here. Model-specific pictures can be found in the section >DESIGNS<

Headpieces & Accessories
SirenPearls actually started out as a small jewelery label, with fantasy accessories such as wing chains and scale jewellery. Over the years my portfolio of accessories has expanded and new products have been added.

Before I started SirenPearls, I had been on the hobby drawing scene as a PaperyStar since around 2007, where I completely dedicated myself to the Shoujo style. So huge manga eyes, cute design and bright colors. This has changed somewhat with design training. Today I see myself more in the field of fantasy, even if I can't completely hide my roots. After a break of several years from drawing, I finally picked up my pens and brushes again in autumn 2022 and hope to create my own art or design book at some point.

Costume and fashion design
An apprenticeship as a fashion designer was always a huge childhood dream for me and in 2014 I was finally able to realize it! Fashion design can do more than the thousandth same T-shirt. Depending on how you use it, it is wearable art and/or an expression of your personality. In the course of the training, however, I noticed that my heart beats more for designing costumes and my designs were neither suitable for everyday use nor for the masses. In addition, I was less and less comfortable with the working conditions in the fashion industry, which is why I decided to go my own way. Nevertheless, I have no regrets about my training! I was able to get to know the most diverse aspects of the fashion industry there for 3 years - from design to pattern production (both CAD and analogue), from material and machine knowledge to sewing the actual designs. And also for my personal development these 3 years were the most beautiful of my life. Working with other creatives and not always being the "strange one with their drawings" has taught me how much fun I can have in teamwork, how much you motivate each other and how to realize the most incredible projects together. ♥

mermaid designs
Mermaiding is a strange hobby for many people, far away from the fantasy and cosplay scene. I came across it when I happened to see a video on YouTube of adults actually transforming themselves into these beautiful mythical creatures with fins made of fabric and silicone, some of which they made themselves. I ordered my first fabric fin in 2013 and attended a beginner's course hoping not to drown. A great side effect of this hobby is that I rediscovered my love of swimming. As a child, I had a minor accident at a swimming pool, which made me afraid of water for years. Unfortunately, school sports couldn't take away my panic either.
Getting to know this new community gave me a new passion. Not only was the feeling of diving under water in these wave-like movements almost like flying, but also the potential of this hobby on a creative level, inspired me. A little shell jewelry was quickly made here and there and I wondered what my own fins would look like. In 2014 I started uploading my designs to MerNetwork, the mermaiding forum. I was happy about the reactions and then started to upload them to social media. That’s how Mertailor noticed me in 2018 and didn’t ask if I would also like to design for his company.
In the future I would also like to produce my own designs and I'm super excited to see how the whole thing develops. ♥

Industrial fair
I gained my first trade fair experience as an exhibitor at Dokomi 2018. Before that I had only attended a few conventions as a guest. Presenting myself with my own stand in front of so many people took an unbelievable amount of effort. I'm a very introverted person who takes a long time to open up to other people. So of course I was super excited when it started. But in the end it was a very nice couple of days and I was really looking forward to getting to know you all! In the years that followed, trade fair appearances at Fark, Der Anderswelt and the ManaFestival were added. My products have also been used on various knives as a walking act.
